MORE GATLINBURG PICS!!

We had such an great time in Gatlinburg! Although during our drive down, we had some bad luck around midnight. A car in front of us swerved to miss a flat semi tire that was laying in the middle of the highway, which kicked it into the air, then hit Jason's grill on his BRAND NEW TRUCK! We haven't even made a payment on this truck yet, and the grill & headlight were already busted. Scared the hell out of us. Thankfully, the boys were asleep in the backseat, and slept right through it (Haille rode down earlier in the day with the choir). We didn't let that ruin our trip though! Friday, Haille had to stay with the choir for the entire day, and I knew the itinerary for performances, so we made sure we saw her show. That meant we spent the day with Trentin & Axten walking around Gatlinburg, then made our way to Pigeon Forge for a bit. We saw the Dolly Parade, too! That evening, we met up with some of the other kids/parents for a bit.

Saturday morning, Haille was released to her family, so we went to the Ripley's Aquarium. It was AMAZING!! Definitely one of my favorite attractions. The sharks thanked Axten for his little plastic stingray toy he threw into the tank. Little stinker!!

GATLINBURG!!!!!

Our trip to Gatlinburg was so much fun!!!!! The choir did a FANTASTIC job, and scored 1st place!! I am so proud of the entire choir, because I know they worked really hard, and practiced, practiced, practiced! Haille is very lucky to have had the opportunity to be apart of such an amazing group of kids. She already said she wants to do it again next year!!!! I really hope she gets to - that means we get another trip to Gatlinburg!!! YAY!!!

(Haille is in the middle, second row)

JUST RANDOM AXTEN SHOTS.....

Axten has a permanent red kool-aid mustache!! As soon as I clean his face, he takes another drink & there it is again!!!

AS AN ADDED BONUS....

At the beginning of the season, Haille's Orioles coach approached me and told me about a travel tournament team, and wondered if Haille would be interested in participating. I said "Of course she would! She would play every night if she could." "Good," he said "I want her at try-outs TOMORROW." Such short notice!!! LOL She went & tried out, and made the team!!! Her tournaments are on Sundays, and we travel all around Indiana to play. She LOVES it!!!

BASEBALL / SOFTBALL HAS BEGUN!!!!

We have entered the time of year where my second home is at the ball diamonds. Each and every night there is a practice or a game, and sometimes practice AND games at the same time!!! (which is why it has taken me so long to update the blog!!!) Then when we get home, it's time for homework & dinner. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll get a load of laundry done in the meantime. Haille is on the Orioles this year, and Trentin is a White Sock once again!

OUR DAY WITH NANA!!!!

We drove down to see Nana on a gorgeous Sunday!! It's always so much fun to spend a day at Nana's house!! We really miss her and wish we lived closer.
