BRAD PAISLEY!!

We went to the Brad Paisley concert!! And this time, I actually got to ENJOY it!! Unfortunately, at last year's concert, I spent much of it ..... ummmm..... under the influence, due to skipping lunch & then consuming a few too many drinks. Quite embarrassing. I was not going to make that mistake again this year, because I love Brad Paisley!!!

GIRL SCOUTS!!

This year, Haille's girl scout troop had a special ceremony at the end of the year. They have "crossed the bridge", literally, from Daisies to Brownies.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!

We made it through another school year!! The kids finished with all A's and B's on their report cards. Good job, my babies!!!

MOTHER'S DAY 2010!!!

I had a wonderful Mother's day!! Jason instructed me to sit on the couch, and do absolutely nothing all day, which is the greatest present ever!! And I took full advantage of that. I didn't even brush my hair!! He and the kids cleaned the house while I got to take a nap. Then Tiff brought over Olive Garden take-out for dinner!! The day was perfect.... until the kids ran in the house, yelling that Trentin was bleeding. He came in holding his head, with blood all over his hands. He fell on the drain at the bottom of our backyard, and gashed his head open, so off to the ER we went. It was clear he would need stitches, which had Trentin terrified. We waited.... and waited....and waited. Four, yes 4, hours later, we finally saw a doctor, whose advice was to let it heal on it's own. WHAT??!? Four hours for nothing?!?!? Since his head stopped bleeding while we waited, we agreed with the doctor to forgo stitches, much to Trentin's delight.

The firm held a "Bring Your Son/Daughter to Work Day". I asked Haille and Trentin if they would be interested in coming to work with me for a day, and they both said YEAH!!!! I mean, who wouldn't want to miss school for a day?!?! I could only bring one kid, so I decided to bring Haille, since she's the oldest. I told Trentin his turn would be next year. He pouted for a while, but eventually got over it.
Haille had emails to answer!! She even got an email from Grandma, and a voicemail from Uncle Trev!! (which was absolutely hilarious)

I promised her we would go out to lunch, anywhere she wanted to go, so she picked Steak n' Shake. It was such a good day!! I got so many compliments on how beautiful and well behaved she is. I am so proud of her!!
