TOOTH FAIRY IS ON VACATION!!!

Poor Trentin!! The tooth fairy keeps forgetting to come pick up his tooth. He lost a tooth a full 7 days ago, and the ding-bat tooth fairy keeps forgetting to come visit him. I told him that maybe she was visiting kids in a different country, or maybe she was taking a vacation. He really broke my heart when he came to me with big tears in his eyes & said "I think the tooth fairy hates me." I told him to wait just ONE MORE NIGHT, I bet she won't forget again. And you know what?? She didn't!! I've never seen a kid so happy to get $1!!! He came running in our bedroom waving his dollar, and Jason said "It's about time!!!". Hmmmmm...... I'm sure the tooth fairy will glady relinquish "visit" rights to the tooth wizard from now on!!!
Yes, I know what "NO" means, I just don't like to hear it!!!

OUR FAVORITE SEASON!!

Our favorite time of year is here - COLTS SEASON!! We love tailgaiting and then going to watch our beloved Blue!!

2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR HAS BEGUN!

This year, the township decided the elementary kids should wear uniforms to school. It consists of khaki or navy blue pants/shorts/skirts and solid color polos, any color. I kind of like the idea, because it means there is no arguing about what to wear to school!! Getting ready in the morning is much easier!!

Haille is in 3rd grade, and she has Mr. Madginski this year.

And here is my 2nd grader. Trentin is in Mrs. Williams class.

HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY TRENTIN!!

Trentin is now 8 years old!!

DADDY'S CARSHOW

Jason sponsored a car show earlier this summer. So we made a trip to Plainfield to support Uncle Trev, since he brought his car out, and to see some other neat cars.

We thought Uncle Trev's car was by far the best!!

Haille got to pick & announce the raffle ticket winners!!

NEW HAIRCUT!!

For quite a while, Haille has begged to have her long hair cut up to her chin. Her hair was almost down to her butt, and she wanted it off!! She has only had little "trims" since she was born & we loved it long. I reminded her that if she got it cut, we could no longer put it in curlers, or ponytails, and we wouldn't be able to braid it. I could not persuade her, she wanted it cut, and we were not going to change her mind. The more I thought about it, I decided that she IS the one that takes care of her hair, after all. Some time later, I was making strawberry shortcake & I wanted her to take a bite (for all that know her, she's a VERY picky eater - it's a fight to get her to try new things). I bribed, "try a bite & I'll take you to cut your hair tomorrow." As quickly as I said that, she grabbed the spoon out of my hand and took a bite!! That's how bad she wanted her hair cut. So, true to my word, I took her the next day to get her haircut. One of the saddest days of my life. She still looks beautiful, but now she looks so grown up. She's not my little girl anymore, she's my little lady.
