Trentin had his first football practice! Actually it was called a try-out to see what the kids' skill levels were, and then they will decide who will be on what team. He did pretty good for it being his first time playing!!

His Daddy is so proud of him!!

HOLY SPIRIT FESTIVAL

We went to the Holy Spirit Festival!! It's a great time for the kids to ride some rides, and the adults can grab a few beers & hit the gambling tables. I couldn't pass up eating a big ol' elephant ear!!!

Me and my girl rode the ferris wheel together!!

My baby girl, the gambler!!! Haille was a lucky charm, and ended up playing for herself. She kept WINNING for a while there!!!

Yes, they won some fish again. Trentin's fish didn't make it to the next day, but Haille's fish is still alive.....SO FAR!!!!

DINNER'S ON HAILLE!!!

Haille made us pizza for dinner all by herself (except I cooked the sausage - still not comfortable with her using the stovetop yet). It was delicious!!!

COLTS SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!

SIX MONTHS OLD!!!

How is it possible that Axten is now six months old?!?! This time last year, we absolutely could not wait for him to get here, and now, he's already 1/2 a year old!!! He's such a big boy, he weighs 23 pounds now!! Look out NFL!! Axten had his first ear infection two weeks ago, and the scary thing is, I couldn't even tell he didn't feel well. I was more worried about a cough that he couldn't kick, but he acted like his normal self even though I'm sure his ear hurt. He is the epitomy of a happy baby!! All you have to do is smile at him, and in return, he will give you the biggest smile back. I can't believe I was nervous about doing the "baby thing" all over again, because he has made the adjustment so incredibly easy. If I knew they all would be just like him, I would of had 10 more!! Too late now, I guess!!

He has the most amazing blue eyes!! I hope they stay this color.

I have also met a personal goal this month - Axten has only had breastmilk so far!! I have not had to substitute formula AT ALL. I was worried that I would no longer be able to pump when I started work again, but it has worked out wonderfully!! I hope I can continue pumping for the rest of the year, but my short goal is to make it another 3 months.........

He's not quite sitting up by himself yet, but I'm sure he will be in no time!!

He is, however, rolling all over the floor nowadays. One day, I put him on the floor, went downstairs to grab some laundry, came back and he was under the coffee table!!!

Axten's new thing is to "scream"!! He's not mad or anything, he'll just sit there and scream!!! It cracks me up.
Hello, Nana!! Yes, I miss you too!!!

4TH OF JULY!!

The party was at our house!! Thank goodness our neighbors are pretty cool because we just took over the whole court!! It turned out to be a great day, even though it started out raining in the morning. We were worried that it wouldn't quit in time!! But we had so much fun!!! We played cornhole until it turned dusk, and we couldn't see anymore, then we brought out the sparklers for the kids!! Our neighbor took care of the rest of the fireworks, and he put on a great show!! We're planning on doing this every year from now on.
