IT'S A BOY!!!

That's 1 girl and 2 boys for the Cutter family!! Without the slightest doubt, we're having a boy. During the ultrasound, our new little man made sure we KNEW he was a boy. He kept putting his little "butt" in plain sight. Maybe he was teasing Aunt Tiffie, because she was sitting right there, and she swore he was a girl. If that's any indication on his personality, he's going to fit right in!!! When I told the kids, Trentin said "YES!!!!" and Haille said "Awwwwwwww, man!!" But she's still excited anyway. So I'm more than halfway there, 18 more weeks to go, 18 short weeks to prepare. (Cue the anxiety!!) I feel him move everyday, and Jason actually felt him kick for the first time, too! Oh yeah, and remember how I said I just might get by with no swelling this time?? No such luck. Just this week, I have started swelling. I'm fine in the morning, but throughout the day, my ankles get puffy & gross looking. I guess that's just how my body handles being pregnant. As long as the baby is healthy, I can handle anything!!

King Baldy

Jason specifically told me NOT to put this picture on the blog - so you know me - I couldn't resist!! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion down in Bloomfield. It was great to see familiar faces that I haven't seen in so many years, and meet people I didn't even know I was related to! It's safe to say that the family sure has grown!! The kids had a great time, getting to swim INDOORS, seeing the farm animals, and then going fishing!

Uh oh.....

We are in trouble when the "boy crazy" phase starts. Is this girl gorgeous, or what?!?! When we told her she looks like a cowgirl, she said "WWWEEEHAWWW!!" and we told her it's YEEHAWW, she said "well, I say WWWEEEHAAWW!!"

First Day of School

Trentin has been looking forward to this day for so long - finally his turn to ride the bus!! Haille was so sweet, she's so protective of him and told him she'd sit next to him and she would show him where his class is. He has the same teacher that Haille had last year, Miss Sterrett, and she is wonderful! We are so glad Trentin will be in her class this year. Haille has Mrs. Perkins, and I've heard great things about her, as well.

You can't see him, but Trentin made sure he was first in line to get on the bus. As it drove away, I did get alittle teary, because I know he was sitting there with a huge grin on his face, enjoying every minute of that bus ride. Even now, when you ask him what his favorite part of school is, he'll say "Riding the bus!!"

Happy Birthday Trentin!!!

My baby boy is 6 years old!! Actually, my baby girl AND my baby boy are both 6 years old right now. That is, until October!!

Children's Museum with Uncle Chris

What is something fun to do when it's 95+ degrees outside?? Something indoors!!! We went to the Children's Museum with Uncle Chris and had a great time.

There are 4 generations in this picture!! My grandparents, my dad, myself and my kids!!

My Baldy

Jason shaves his head every morning, so one evening, I convinced him to let me put some Nair on his head!! He was worried it would break his head out, and I told him "no way, it won't break you out." Let's just say he's not EVER going to put Nair on his head again. I couldn't stop laughing!! He was a good sport about it, thank goodness!!!

We have a dead fish!!!!

Ok - so when I picked the kids up yesterday afternoon, I said we needed to stop by the store for a few things. Haille was like "but I have to feed my fish!!!" and Trentin piped in and said "yeah, or he'll DIE!!!!" I said we wouldn't be very long and that he'd be OK, only to hear their continuous protests of how the fish was STARVING!!!!! We went to the store, I ran through the carwash & got them some McDonalds and went home. When we got home, they sat at the table to eat (their happy meal toys kept them distracted from this fish that was apparently STARVING) and when they were finished, Haille went upstairs to feed her fish, and I hear "MOM!!!" Oh shit. I started to go upstairs, and she came out of her room carrying her fishbowl, and there was a floating dead fish. (I think this is the first time in my life that I actually prayed for a fish, and that he was only sleeping!!!! He wasn't.) She was so mad and yelled at me "SEE? I TOLD YOU HE WOULD DIE!!!" Trentin confirmed, "Yup, he's dead!!!" because his fish died a couple weeks ago, so he's an expert at spotting dead fish. Now, trying to explain to a 6 year old that he probably died sometime while we were gone during the day did absolutely no good because IT WAS ALL MY FAULT!!!! I tried to explain that fish don't live forever, she's still upset. So we had a memorial that ended with a flush, all the while I am secretly cursing that damn fishbowl game at the fair because it was making me feel like a horrible mom. Why couldn't the stupid fish die the day before yesterday, or even today, when I don't need to go to the store after work?!? I would have been in the clear!!! By the end of the evening, she wasn't mad at me anymore, and even colored me a picture & it said "I love Mommy", so I think she has forgiven me for killing her fish.
