We Went Swimming!!

The pools are now open, so our usual routine through the summer is to go swimming on Saturdays!! This first time, however, the water was freezing!!! But that doesn't stop Haille & Trentin from jumping right in!!!

Haille loves the water slide!! I felt so bad for Trentin though. We thought this year he would be able to go down the slide too. I waited with him in the long line to see if he was tall enough, but he is just an inch too short. He was devastated, poor guy.

Our Last Baseball Game

We had our last baseball game on Saturday. It's kind of sad!! I know they'll play next year, but I will feel lost not having to get up at the break of dawn every Saturday morning to be at the ball field by 8:15 am!! Haille & Trentin loved playing together. Haille will move on to softball next year, and Trentin will have another year in the pee-wee league.


After the game, the team got trophies.

At long last, Trentin finally got his trophy!!! One of the team parents made a CD for all the parents which had pictures of the kids throughout the season & played music in the background. It's pretty neat!!

Festival

Grandma's church was having a festival full of kid's games & activities. Haille & Trentin's favorite part was getting their faces painted!!

The Indians Game

We got to go to an Indians game with our teammates!! It was so much fun!!! Next time, we're going to sit in the outfield so maybe we can catch a homerun ball!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a busy Memorial Day weekend!! We spent Friday night and Saturday night at Michelle's house (Jason's sister) down in Cincinnati. The weather was wonderful, and the kids had a blast swimming and jumping on the trampoline, but I forgot my camera, so I didn't get any pictures. Then on Memorial Day, we went bowling!! I did remember my camera this time, but only got one picture before my battery went dead.................
