Our Lazy Sunday

On Sunday, we went to play at the park!

There were horses in the field next to the park. The kids were more interested in watching them instead of playing on the playground!!

Mmmm....ice cream!! Had to get a picture of the goofy chocolate face!!

My New Car!!

That's right - I got a new car!!! It's a 2007 Hyundai Sonata. Definitely a change, since I'm so used to driving Fords (because my Dad, sister & brother all worked there) but I really love it. I gave Jason a list of things I wanted to do - like tint the windows and put a spoiler on the back. It's wonderful to have a husband who works in the car aftermarket industry!!

Christmas in April!!!

After a long evening at the car dealership, we got to come home to open presents that Aunt Kim and Uncle Frank brought us!!

A Bratz Doll! Haille LOVES Bratz!!

Oh yeah!! Hummer trucks!!

Thank you Aunt Kim & Uncle Frank!! We love our presents!!

Our First Baseball Game

Our first game was Friday night. I literally took about 70 pictures because I wanted a picture of everything!! Wouldn't it be easier to just bring a video camera?? Probably!! All those kids are absolutely adorable, we're really going to enjoy these games!!

Haille was the pitcher's helper the first inning. She loved it!!

It isn't hard to find Haille with that hot pink helmet!! Looking around at all the teams, all the little girls have the same helmets. Too funny!!!

Hurry Haille!!!

YEAH!!! She scored a run!!!

Trentin's turn at bat catching a few warm up swings.
Trentin really cracked us up!! When he hit the ball, he didn't stop at first, or at second, and he didn't stop at third, he kept on going!!!

I just love how his hat is a tad too big that it rests on his ears & makes them stick out!! He's too cute!!

The "Easter Bunny"

I think the whole "Easter Bunny" image has been ruined for Haille and Trentin. Very upsetting for me initially, but I've gotten over it now (I guess.) Let me start from the beginning.......

On Good Friday, daycare was closed, so Haille and Trentin were going to Grandma's (my mom's house) because I still had to work. I woke up that morning to find a flat tire (great way to start the day) so I needed to put on the spare. All their Easter stuff was in my hiding place - the trunk, so I had to make sure the kids stayed inside the house while I dug out the spare & changed the tire AND trying to hide their Easter stuff. Kinda difficult because they kept wanting to come outside and "tell" on each other. After I threatened their lives that if I saw them outside one more time......... I got everything back in the trunk and we were on our way to Grandma's. I ended up taking a 1/2 day because I had to get a new tire, and a couple other things for their Easter baskets, and then I headed back to my mom's to pick up the kids. I get there, and tell the kids to get in their seats & buckle their seatbelts, which is nothing out of the ordinary, while I stood in the doorway talking to my mom. The next thing I know, both of them ran back up to the house asking if they could open their "surprises". WHAT?!?!? I ran outside and those little stinkers had gotten into my trunk (after my morning of making sure they DIDN'T see their Easter stuff) and saw EVERYTHING the "Easter Bunny" was going to bring them!!! Needlesstosay, I freaked out. Did I over-react??? MAYBE. JUST ALITTLE. UH-HUH!!!! I'm sure they couldn't understand why sweet-happy-to-see-me Mommy instantly turned into yelling-screaming-psycho. I was disappointed because I wanted the whole "Easter Bunny" fiasco to last longer than 6 years. Plus, when I use the whole Easter Bunny threat, you know the one "The Easter Bunny is watching....." or "I'm calling the Easter Bunny......" that will have ZERO effect now!!!!

So that brings us to Easter morning. Well, that is after a LONG Friday night and ALL DAY Saturday of "Can I have my Barbie now?" and "Mom, I want to play with my toys!!" What's a mother to say? So I did just as I planned, I put their Easter baskets together, but this year I HID THEM!!! And what did they say when they found them?? "YEAH!!! It's just what was in your trunk!!" Ouch. The sting of disappointment is still there. I guess I'm not as "over it" as I thought. And Jason, when you read this: IT IS A BIG DEAL!!!! ;-)

Happy Easter!!! I can't decide which is my favorite picture. This one.......

.......or this one.

Here's our little princess!! It isn't hard to get Haille to pose for a picture.

He looks like a little man!!

Last day of school before Spring Break!!! Wahoo!!

This little baby girl followed Trentin everywhere he went!! It was so cute!!!

Sunday was such a beautiful day, we went and played at the park!! Haille's favorite thing to do is the monkey bars!!

On Saturday, practice was cancelled because of the rain, so we went to Grandma's to color easter eggs!!

Can you tell how hard Trentin is concentrating?

You can't really see it, but Haille made one that said "Mommy". She's such a sweet girl!!

Coloring easter eggs is so much fun!! Now we're counting down the days until the Easter Bunny comes!!
